I'M A SENIOR! Year Goals, Reflecting On My College Years, and Thoughts on Graduation - Life, Travel, and Jesus

Howdy, y'all! I am ecstatic to write my blog. Why? Today, I am sharing my senior year goals and thoughts on graduation. These past (almost) five years in college have taught me about life and how to persevere. I cannot express just how grateful I am to have the college experience I have had. God has done many things in my life and has helped me through my journey. There is so much I am sharing today in my blog. So without further ado, here is my senior blog.           First, let's talk about my goals for the year. My list is pretty short, but will bring me far in the long run. Here are my goals: to stress less and enjoy life. I am not saying I have not enjoyed my college experience over the past four years, but I have had a lot of stress during my studies. Continuing to seek the Lord during my senior year will help me achieve this goal. I want minimal stress, so I will go to God about healing the negativity in my life.           Next, I want to share my thoughts on

Lake and Beach Fun! Vacation 2023 - Haley Owens

Howdy, everyone! I am super excited to share my vacation blog with everyone. Vacation was so much fun for my family and I. We drove to South Carolina and North Carolina to visit the beach and lake with extended family. Overall, I enjoyed my experience on vacation.           Vacation first started out in South Carolina. My immediate and extended family stayed at a lake house with a boat. Most days looked like riding in the boat and going for a swim. One  thing my sister, dad, and I did was take a walk through a forest park in the area.          The next destination my family went to is Wilmington, North Carolina. Here, we went to a beach town. Most of our days looked like renting a boat, swimming, surfing, or riding bikes. During our time there, we found a small café named Sunday's Café. Their chai tea was the best.          Overall, I enjoyed vacation. Going to North and South Carolina and spending time with family was great. I wish we could have stayed longer.

Easy Ways to Stay Organized - Life, Travel, and Jesus

Do you find it hard to stay organized? Do you want to be better organized? Well, I'm here to help you. I have been organizing for years. Going to college also opened my eyes to more ways to be and stay organized. Over the past few years, I have learned so much about organizing, and I am here to share the information with you. Here are my organization tips and how you can stay organized too. Folders/Binders           Having folders or binders is perfect for helping you stay organized. Wheatear it is for school, work, or tax information, these will help you keep track of what you have. With folders and binders, you can buy a label maker and label everything clearly. You can also do this online online as well (Amazon Lists and Google Drive). In school, I use different folders for each class as needed. I also have one separate folder for paper homework. Agenda/Planner           An agenda is perfect to buy if you want to organize your day-to-day activities. Having an agenda

Writing a Book

Howdy, everyone! Welcome back to my blog. I hope y’all are enjoying your summer. For this blog, I will share the publishing of my first book, Through God’s Lens, and what I learned during the experience. I have always wanted to author and publish a book. I’m so blessed to have done it now.  How I Got Started       I’ve always had a love for writing. Writing has always been one of my favorite ways to express myself creatively as well as my favorite way to express my knowledge in school. Through writing the content I learned, I was and continue to be able to retain what I learned quickly and easier. In middle school, I wrote an entire play with the hopes that it would one day publish. I am now writing the book for the play. The writing was my creative outlet in middle school and continues to be my favorite outlet to this day Writing Today       Writing is my favorite hobby too. Today, I have a blog and now a book on the market. This is exciting for me because I have always wanted to

Amazon Necessities - College Edition

Howdy everyone! Welcome to my blog. Today, I am going to talk about Amazon finds for college students. I will show everyone the low down on college essentials I love on Amazon. If you plan on shopping online, you are in the right place. I am contemplating creating an Amazon influencer account so you can shop there instead of going back and forth to my blog and Amazon looking at college products. I can also do this for my monthly favorites. If you would like me to do this, let me know. Let's get into my favorite Amazon finds.      1. Surge protector. A surge protector is perfect for students with multiple plugs (lamp, phone, laptop, coffee maker, and more). Not only that, but the surge protector will protect your electronics from damage during power outages.      2. Storage ottomans. In case you have a high-rise bed, invest in some storage ottomans. Not only can these be used for storage, but since what you are buying is an ottoman (or ottomans) this is also a great place

Even if we do not have similar favorites, I would still love to hear from you. Without further ado, here are my favorites.           First on my list is Glow Recipe's Dew Drops. I got this product for free because May was my birthday month. This product has helped me maintain my complexion. I have noticed my face is softer and less rough. Not to mention, this product smells beautiful. Overall, I would rate this product a 10/10.           Next, is Pacifica's Wake Up Beautiful Retinoid Serum. With this product, I have noticed smooth skin as well as less fine lines. I would recommend this product to anyone 20 years old and older.           Third on my list are Pacifica's Coco Detangler
